PURCHASER, ACCOMMODATION SYSTEMS
As Purchaser, in our Accommodation Systems Division, you will hold the following key responsibilities.
- Overall responsibility for the purchased products & works
- Overall responsibility for all operative purchasing in the nominated project including project’s budgeting, forecasting, cash flow updating, follow-up meetings, and reporting
- Procurement ERP key user
Furthermore, in this position, your specific responsibilities will include the following
- Responsible for the purchased product/service until it is received according to the delivery terms (for example FCA supplier’s factory)
- Issuing the orders
- Invoice checking and processing payments to suppliers
- Filling the supplier’s order confirmations to ERP-system
- Controlling the on-time delivery with MPR
- Contract negotiations and issuing contracts during defined projects
- Supplier collaboration including FAT-test schedule (together with Project Manager)
- Sending reclamations/claims to suppliers and subcontractors
To be successful in this position, we will need to have
- Basic commercial skills in Business-to-Business -trading
- Technical knowledge of products and work scopes in the marine and offshore industry
- Negotiation skills
- Knowledge of different manufacturing methods
- Knowledge of supplier markets and supplier possibilities
- Knowledge of materials and work requirements
- Understanding the meaning of total cost
- Ability to handle several tasks at the same time
- Ability to finish ongoing tasks
- Sense of responsibility and well organized
- Ability to focus on the essentials
