Modernization of Hot Galleys onboard Marella Discovery 2 completed by ALMACO Group
ALMACO Group is proud to announce the successful completion of a modernization project aboard TUI Cruises’ Marella Discovery 2, during drydock at Navantia shipyard in Cádiz, Spain. The project consisted of upgrades to the ship’s hot galleys and was delivered in November 2024.
Enhancing culinary spaces
ALMACO’s scope of work focused on upgrading culinary areas to elevate the onboard dining experience. The project consisted of the modernization of the glass house galley, bakery, and island galley, ensuring these spaces meet the standards for efficiency and functionality. Additionally, ALMACO installed a new show cooking counter featuring a decorative front and top, blending aesthetic appeal with practical design.
Successful Teamwork
The project was a success thanks to the teamwork and collaboration between the shipyard, owners and ALMACO’s team.
