ALMACO GROUP CELEBRATES SUCCESFUL FLEET MAINTENANCE PARTNERSHIP WITH BRITTANY FERRIES
ALMACO Group is delighted to announce the renewal of its fleet maintenance contract with Brittany Ferries for the third consecutive year. This partnership, which began as a leap of faith from Brittany Ferries, has now become a testament to the benefits of ALMACO’s comprehensive maintenance services.
REALIABLE GALLEY MAINTENANCE ACROSS NINE VESSELS
ALMACO Group has been entrusted with the annual maintenance of galley equipment across the nine ships of the Brittany Ferries fleet. ALMACO’s technicians visit each ship once a year, following a planned schedule based on client priorities. This approach ensures that all equipment remains in optimal condition through a combination of preventive and corrective maintenance. The scope of work includes thorough inspections, timely repairs, and the implementation of best practices to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
COLLABORATION AND TEAMWORK
The success of this project is a testament to the excellent collaboration between Brittany Ferries’ teams and ALMACO’s team. ALMACO’s work was integrated into the ships’ schedules, conducted during sailing to avoid any disruption to operations. Jean-Marie Cueff, Fleet Hotel Superintendent, at Brittany Ferries, commented, “We are experiencing fewer breakdowns during the high season, which translates to reduced operational costs. This improvement is largely due to the decreased need for emergency parts and the reduced necessity for multiple original equipment manufacturer interventions.”
The ALMACO team works hand-in-hand with Brittany Ferries to continually improve processes, delivering the highest quality maintenance services tailored to the fleet’s specific needs. This collaborative approach has proven successful, laying the groundwork for long-term fleet optimization and support.
